Brenham is one of the best preserved small cities in Texas with a layered history that spans Native American tribes to the first European settlers before the Texas Independence.

Housed in the historic former Brenham Post Office, the Brenham Heritage Museum provides a unique glimpse into the history, culture and people of Brenham and Washington County. The first phase of exhibits covers early photographers, agriculture, transportation, military and it’s former use as the town post office.

Each exhibit provides a different user experience with tactile elements and artifacts along with touchscreens, whimsical experiences and physical interactives.
